Exterior hand washing of vehicle using only soft water. No "old school" buckets of soapy water (which then turns into dirty water) are used. A high tech bottle is attached to the pressure washer which then sprays a thick foamy soap onto the vehicle. This ensures that the dirt washed off the vehicle is not put back onto the vehicle. The vehicle is then wiped dry leaving no water spots. The windows are cleaned inside and out. The door jambs (and trunk/hatch if applicable) are wiped dry as well. Dressing is put on the tires. Dust is wiped out of the interior. The entire interior (and trunk where applicable) are vacuumed.

Z Mobile Detailing generally will not book appointments for just a wash. Another service must be requested in conjunction with a wash. For example, interior carpet and upholstery cleaning along with a wash is eligible for an appointment without a service call charge, however if just a wash service is desired, add a $5.00 service call fee to the advertised price.

A Note on synthetic sealants versus carnuba wax:

Newer cars use a different paint process which is vastly different from classic or late model cars. Vehicle manufacturers employ a "three step" paint process consisting of a primer coat - color or base coat - and clear coat. The clear coat is what makes your car shine. The clear coat when properly cared for, will withstand the desert's harsh environment and retain a glossy appearance for years. While you may certainly use "classic wax" on your newer car, we recommend "waxing" your car with synthetic sealant which is a superior product. Z Mobile Detailing uses Meguiar's professional synthetic products for top results on your newer car!

For a vehicle that has not been waxed or cleaned for a long period of time, cleaning of painted surfaces is recommended. A cleaner/polish is first applied to your car's painted surfaces. Only after your paint surface is smooth and shiny will we apply a protective synthetic sealant. The synthetic sealant actually bonds to the clear coat of your car giving a long lasting shine that will withstand the desert heat! Your car will look showroom new when the job is complete! Dark colored vehicles derive the most benefit from this process.

Mild oxidation, tar, paint transfer marks, water spots, surface scratches / scuffs, and swirl marks can be removed in most cases. This is accomplished through the use of detailing clay bars, professional Meguiar's compounds, and other materials. Using a heat extractor (which heats the water to 200 degrees), carpets, floor mats and cloth seats are cleaned using a special solution (which has color brighteners in it) that is then sucked out along with the dirt. This is not merely shampooing the carpets and scrubbing stains around. This is the most thorough method of carpet and upholstery cleaning available. While not every stain can be removed, (red dye such as in Kool Aid is nearly impossible to remove) most stains and dirt come out so well that there is a dramatic difference in the before and after appearance of your interior. The solution used also removes most foul smells in the carpets and upholstery as well.

When the interior of your vehicle gets dingy with built up dirt, grime, and scuff marks the only way to bring it back to life is to have it scrubbed. This scrubbing will remove the majority of the dirt and scuff marks bringing your vehicles interior back to as close to new as possible.

The interior plastic and leather of your vehicle can dry, fade and even crack over time. By having dressing applied to these interior pieces you will prolong its life and improve the appearance of your interior while protecting it. Some interiors require scrubbing before the dressing can be applied as it is a protectant only, not a cleaner.

A dirty engine can attract more dust and dirt. A dirty engine may also adversely affect engine performance. We will pressure wash your engine bay to remove dirt and grime, Electrical components will be covered and degreaser applied. We will use compressed air to remove any water accumulation. Finally, a water-based dressing will be applied to give your engine that new car appearance.
